Hate Changing Your Number when You Move? Don’t

I don’t know how many of you have had move recently.  In the last 15 years I have moved 5 times.  The biggest pain about moving is having to get a new phone number, and then making sure that everyone gets it.  With cellphones that not too much of a problem, but if you keep your old number it could mean long distance for those trying to reach it.  There is a way you can have your cake and eat it, too.  Welcome to Google Voice.  With Google Voice you can keep your old number and have a new number for the local area you are in.  Yes, it means learning a new number, but then you were going to have to anyways, right?  The best part is that it is FREE and you can screen your calls when they come in and decide whether to send them to voicemail or not.
