iPad Falling Behind? It Isn’t the First Time.

I know I have some friends, Apple fans who will want to argue this one but you can’t argue the facts.  One example I can think of right off is the camera on the iPad 2.  When it was release there were multi-megapixel cameras available but both cameras on the iPad were less than 1 megapixel.  The Toshiba Thrive, my preferred tablet came with a 5MP camera on the front and 2MP camera on the back.  None of the iPads have a card reader, you have to buy an adapter, but many of the Android and Window based units come with card readers built in.  There are more ways it has fallen behind but there is a new one.

There is a feature that is now available on Android similar to Windows to have multiple apps open, and for Apple I wouldn’t hold your breath.  With Windows 8 now in tablet form (although needing a moderate reconfig), and Android about to become its own computer/tablet system the seamless of Apple will soon not be a unique feature.  In fact, with the Windows game system, computer tablet/system, and phone you will have items that work seamlessly than MAC.
