Using Microsoft Media Center

Here is another way of saving a little money.  Many of us work on our computers while watching TV.  The way of saving money is using your computer to watch TV and save on the purchase of a TV.  I use a dual screen (extended desktop) setup.  I have a video capture card that I use with a tuner and can size the picture on  either screen or go full screen.  Then I can work on the computer and have the show I am watching next to the screen I am working on.  The program you use to watch can add to the experience.  Most video capture cards include software, but keeping a machine clean can help performance.  So why not use Microsoft’s Media Center to handle the viewing.  Here is a little help in getting it setup.
