Microsoft Office for MAC – Academic

I know that there are several MAC users that read this blog from time to time.  With Microsoft Office having become the defacto standard application in use due to the numbers in use being able to create, edit, and read Office files on a Mac can be a challenge.  If you are a student you can purchase the Office for Mac 2011 at a low price.

  1. iWorks opens all Microsoft Office docs, spreadsheets and presentations. It can save as Microsoft office files as well. I have both iWorks and Office for MAC on my machine. I hardly ever use the office apps. I saw it as a waste of money as it does not do everything that the PC version of office does.

It would be interesting to see the new version though. I hate to shell out a $100 to find out the hard way though.

    • I checked with MS and they will have a trial version available first of 2011.
